For Maryland Taxes, What is the Date of Finality?

The date of finality is the first day of January prior to the July 1st tax year. This applies when you are looking at what tax year is under appeal. For example, if you receive a triennial assessment for the three years beginning July 1, 2015, the date of finality for levy year 2015 is January 1, 2015.
