Common Area Deeds in Harford County, Maryland, No Longer Require a Lien Sheet

Lien sheets will no longer be required for Common Area Deeds in Harford County, Maryland.

No research on outstanding balances due from the owner will be completed. All other types of Deed transfers will require a lien sheet prior to processing. If a deed is presented without a lien sheet, the presenter must provide a copy of this policy indicating which category the deed falls under in order to receive the lien sheet exemption.

Drafting and filing a deed can be a strenuous and difficult process. Making sure a deed is recorded correctly is important because they are very difficult to change after the fact so it is a good idea to contact an experienced attorney.
