For any instrument that transfers title and/or effects a change in ownership on the real property tax records of SDAT (i.e. deeds, other than deeds of easements), one must first: (a) Municipal and special taxes, assessments and charges. Pay municipal and special taxes, assessments and charges as follows – Anne Arundel County – pay all outstanding municipal taxes and charges, including water bills, if property is in City of Annapolis (Anne Arundel County Code Art. 4, § 1-101 –”Sixth Assessment District”)”
